The Devil and The Crossroads tell the tale of legendary blues guitar player, Robert Johnson. Johnson had a love to play the blues but his playing was below average at best. He wanted to play and made a deal with the devil at the crossroads. The deal? Becoming the best blues player around for his soul. In this painting I tell the story of Robert Johnson playing this guitar. The "devil's music" comes out of the guitar while we see his ghostly figure underneath.
